Residency Requirements and Exemption Policies
Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are required to live on campus or commute from the home (primary residence) of a parent or guardian. Rising sophomores and juniors must request an exemption to commute from home. Exemption request forms are available at the following link:
The Residence Hall Agreement
All students who select a room must electronically sign a "Residence Hall Agreement." If you do not sign an agreement, your space will not be held. Please also note that the housing contract is binding for the entire 2015-2016 academic year. If you sign an agreement and fail to occupy the space while enrolled, the University reserves the right to charge you for the space. Requests to be released from the contract must be submitted in writing to the Director of Residence Life.
The Meal Plan
All students who live in the residence halls must participate in the meal plan. Residents of Jobe Hansen, Bowden Magbee, Alumni, Dempsey, Traer and Greek Row single rooms will receive a full meal plan. Residents of Greek Row double rooms will receive a 10 meal a week plan.
Room Draw Proxy Form
If you cannot attend the room selection process, you must select someone to serve as a proxe and choose a room for you during room selectoin. Yoru proxy must bring this signed form to room selection or they will not be permitted to choose a room on yoru behalf.

Gender Neutral Housing
The OURES Office offers a gener neutral option to returning students who mutually agree to reside in Bowden Magbee, Jobe Hansen, and Upper Quad Residential Complex halls. Please click the following link to learn more about the Gender Neutral Housing option and to complete the form.
